Wei-Loong Chen is a Special Counsel in the National Governance and Compliance Division of Clayton Utz. He is experienced in developing and implementing governance, risk and compliance frameworks for organisations in the private and public sector, focusing on banking and financial services law, competition and consumer legislation, privacy, anti-money laundering/counter-terrorism legislation, and retail credit.
Wei-Loong has advised many of the firm's private sector clients on governance and compliance matters, including clients in the retail, electricity, building, aviation, transport and logistics, and banking and financial services industries, and various Federal, State and local government agencies.
Wei-Loong holds a Master of Laws from the University of Queensland. He is also a Member and an accredited Certified Compliance Professional with the Australasian Compliance Institute.
