
Paul Fitzpatrick is the Partner in Charge of the Perth Office of Clayton Utz. He has conducted a wide range of complex litigation relating to contractual disputes, the competition and consumer law, access issues, informal clearances and ACCC authorisations.
His has acted in relation to access disputes concerning the Goldfields Gas Pipeline (WMC), on behalf of Hope Downs Resources in relation to access to BHP Billiton's rail line in the Pilbara, and for DBNGP (WA) Nominees Pty Ltd in relation to access disputes concerning the Dampier to Bunbury Gas Pipeline. This latter matter was heard in the Australian Competition Tribunal during 2012.
Paul also acted for Western Power during its gas price arbitration against the Northwest Shelf Joint Venturers and established Western Power's first Trade Practices Compliance Program.
