Clayton Utz features prominently among finalists for the 2017 Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards
Sydney, 25 July 2017: Clayton Utz is shortlisted for a record number of accolades at the 2017 Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards, including Law Firm of the Year and Employee Program of the Year.
Chief Executive Partner (CEP) Rob Cutler's leadership has also seen him recognised again as a finalist for the Managing Partner of the Year Award, which he won last year.
Another six Clayton Utz partners and lawyers are in the running for individual awards:
- Julie Levis - Dealmaker of the Year
- Andrew Walker - Dealmaker of the Year
- Stuart Byrne - Partner of the Year
- Jennifer Harris - Special Counsel of the Year
- Eugene Tan - Senior Associate of the Year
- David Foong - Young Gun of the Year
Clayton Utz is also a finalist in five team categories:
- Banking and Finance Team of the Year
- Dispute Resolution Team of the Year
- Government Team of the Year
- Intellectual Property Team of the Year
- Property Team of the Year
Now in its 17th year, the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards celebrate excellence in law, recognising the industry's outstanding individuals, teams and firms and their contributions to the profession.
Award winners will be announced at a black tie event in Sydney on 1 September.
