Infrastructure

Behind any infrastructure project, there's more infrastructure. It's the infrastructure of a great project team.

Overview

When you're putting that team together, you'll need legal advisers to help you structure and finance the project in a tax-effective way, allocate risk, document it all, get the planning approvals, and work on the thousand and one issues that crop up during (and after) delivery, including disputes. If you're exploring infratech, or creating a digital twin, you'll also need to consider licensing, cyber security and data management.

As the leading infrastructure practice in Australia, we can absolutely help you with all of that. We pioneered PPPs, dispute resolution mechanisms, and many other common features of the sector, and work on many of the largest infrastructure projects here and in the Asia-Pacific. We've worked in infrastructure for transport and logistics, real estate development and construction, telecommunications, housing and social infrastructure, extractive industries, power generation and transmission and downstream facilities. But we know there's more to the story.

There are the types of infrastructure with additional regulation, either under Part IIIA of the Competition and Consumer Act or Security of Critical Infrastructure Act, or both. And then there's infrastructure as an asset.

We know what a great infrastructure team looks like. Let us build one for you, so you can get on with what you do best – building something great.

Our team to support you
