Media Release: Clayton Utz advises lenders on foreign investor Peakstone's acquisition of Sydney tower

Perth, 2 February 2021: Clayton Utz has acted for Commonwealth Bank of Australia as agent and arranger on an AUD$300 million syndicated funding package provided to Peakstone, a Singapore Headquartered investor and manager of Asian capital, to facilitate its acquisition of 45 Clarence Street, Sydney for AUD$530 million from Dexus.

Perth Finance partner Rohan Mishra led the firm's deal team, with key support from special counsel, Kate Casellas, and lawyers, Isabella Bogunovich and Nicole Courtney.

Rohan said the transaction highlighted that there was still strong interest from foreign investors in the Australian commercial real estate market:
