Media Release: Clayton Utz names Ross McInnes as next Board Chair

Ross has been a partner of Clayton Utz for over a decade and was appointed as a director of the Board on 1 January this year. A commercial litigator, Ross has carved out a highly successful practice, particularly known for handling highly complex and sensitive disputes and regulatory matters for clients operating in the financial services sector.

Chief Executive Partner Emma Covacevich congratulated Ross on his appointment. 

Ross's career with us spans over two decades, so he understands our values and spirit of enterprise very well. His wise counsel will help steer the Board, and through it the Firm, through challenging market conditions.

Karen has retired from the partnership to become Group General Counsel and Group Executive Legal & Group Secretariat at the Commonwealth Bank.
