Media Release: Clayton Utz advises Squadron Energy on the financing for the Uungula Wind Farm project

Clayton Utz has supported Squadron Energy, a portfolio company of Tattarang, on its successful construction financing of the Uungula Wind Farm — the largest wind farm being built in New South Wales.

The wind farm will be built in the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone and will boost the local economy, creating over 260 jobs and bringing approximately $40 million into region Australia.

Once operational the 69-turbine Uungula Wind Farm will have a capacity of 414MW and prevent over 560,000 tonnes of carbon emissions every year.

Clayton Utz team members included Partner Kate Casellas, who led the firm's team working alongside Lawyers James Allen and Ally Clark.

The Clayton Utz team has provided ongoing support to Squadron Energy on its portfolio financing arrangements which is the largest renewable portfolio financing in Australia.
