Media release: Specialist real estate lawyer Vicki Aron joins Clayton Utz partnership

We are pleased to welcome Vicki Aron, a specialist real estate lawyer with 20 years’ experience, to our partnership in early 2025.
Ms Aron specialises in major projects and development transactions, and also advises on commercial and industrial leasing, acquisitions and disposals, and corporate real estate matters.
With expertise in the renewables sector, Ms Aron has extensive experience advising on the tenure and real estate aspects of solar, wind, hydro, battery energy storage systems and energy from waste projects in Australia. She also regularly advises clients on real estate issues in energy transition matters such as disputes with landowners.
Clayton Utz’s National Practice Group Leader for Real Estate, Andrew Steele, said Vicki’s appointment comes amid a period of intense demand for real estate legal services.
‘Vicki’s appointment will ensure we maintain our market leading bench strength and capability to meet the growing demand for advice across a range of real estate matters, especially for our private sector clients.
Vicki first joined Clayton Utz as a senior associate more than 15 years ago, so it’s a joy to welcome her back to our team.
Vicki is incredibly client-centric and will be a huge asset to the firm and our clients.’
Ms Aron joins the Clayton Utz partnership from Ashurst, where she was a partner in the firm’s real estate team.
