Aimee has broad experience advising on sell-side and buy-side transactions, and has a detailed knowledge of the issues involved in an M&A transaction at all stages, from initial kick-off to completion. Aimee's expertise includes advising clients on and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, joint venture arrangements, advising on corporate governance issues, regulatory compliance, commercial contracting, subscriptions and restructures. Aimee advises clients (domestic and international) across a wide range of industries, including public sector, education, fintech, natural resources, agriculture, retail, motoring and healthcare.

  • Victorian Government: advised on the procurement of the MR5 franchise for tram and train operators.
  • M&G Real Estate: advised on its acquisition of an additional 25% interest in the commercial property at 400 George St, Sydney from Investa Commercial Property Fund.
  • Chevron: advised on its acquisition of Puma Energy’s Australian commercial and retail fuels business for $425 million.
  • Heineken: advised on its acquisition of a portfolio of selected international cider and beer brands from Carlton United Breweries (a subsidiary of Asahi).
  • Monash University:
    • advised on the sale of its minority interest Monash South Africa to ADvTECH.
    • regularly advises Monash University on a range of corporate law, governance and general contracting matters.
  • Tyro Limited:
    • advised on its investment into software start-up me&u and related joint venture arrangements.
    • advised on its acquisition of digital health payments business Medipass Solutions.
    • advised on its acquisition of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s merchant acquiring business and entry into a long-term merchant acquiring services alliance.
  • Nippon Paint Holdings Co. Ltd: advised on its $3.8 billion acquisition of DuluxGroup Limited by way of scheme of arrangement.
  • EMR Capital:
    • Capricorn Copper: advised on the acquisition of the minority holder's interest in the Capricorn Copper Mine.
    • Kestrel Coal: advised private equity fund EMR Capital on its US$2.25 billion acquisition of 80% of the Kestrel Coal Mine in Queensland from Rio Tinto.
    • Martabe: advised EMR Capital on a leveraged acquisition of the Martabe gold and silver mine in Indonesia from Hong Kong listed G Resources Group Limited for US$775 million.
  • QSA Group Pty Ltd: advised the founders of the Quest Serviced Apartments franchise business on a series of sell-downs to Singapore-listed The Ascott Limited, and related joint venture arrangements.
