FAR e-Learning Hub

The Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) replaces the old Banking Executive Accountability Regime (BEAR), which applied only to authorised deposit taking institutions (ADIs). The FAR extends the provisions of the BEAR from ADIs to registered superannuation licensees and all general, life, and private health insurers.

To assist with understanding the obligations under the regime and ensuring compliance, our FAR team has designed an online and interactive e-Learning Hub.

This will be updated on a rolling basis and contains resources to keep you up to date with FAR obligations and legal requirements, including:

  • Four short video modules with supporting materials: an introduction to FAR, and separate targeted modules on FAR for Accountable Persons, for non-Executive Directors, and for Operations Teams;
  • Resources: quick links to the legislation, relevant regulatory guidance, and Clayton Utz's Insights articles;
  • Q&A function: to direct queries to our experts.

The e-Learning Hub will provide you with valuable information and support as you navigate the requirements of the FAR.
