Mark Brady

Mark Brady, Environment & Sustainable Development

Mark has been part of the Clayton Utz Environment & Sustainable Development team since 2010. He has significant experience across a range of disciplines in his practice area and has worked on many large scale infrastructure projects. In particular, he has supported his clients in compulsory acquisition and planning matters, litigation, provided water law advice, as well as undertaking due diligence and environmental assessment reviews.

"Clayton Utz is filled with many smart and talented people. I've always been proud to work for Clayton Utz, but now as a partner, it takes on an even greater meaning. I'm looking forward to contributing to maintaining the firm's reputation as a great place to work, supporting my clients and contributing to the strategic direction of the firm."

William Howe, Data Analytics

With experience across Canada, London and Sydney, William joined Clayton Utz in 2022 to lead our Data Analytics practice within Forensic & Technology Services. William develops custom technology solutions to automate and streamline tasks, often incorporating AI, for both clients and internal use. He is experienced in navigating compliance challenges, including remediation and regulatory data governance.

"It's a privilege to work with clients that play such an important role in Australian society, and an honour to be promoted to partner. I'm looking forward to continuing to support our firm, our people and our clients on critical legal issues."

Katherine Mallik, Major Projects & Construction

Joining Clayton Utz as a graduate from the University of Newcastle, Katherine has spent the majority of her career at Clayton Utz. Katherine is an expert in infrastructure development and redevelopment projects. She has broad expertise in supporting clients through procurement, property, environment, commercial and performance-related legal issues arising throughout the different stages of a project's lifecycle.

"While being promoted to partner represents a very significant milestone in my own career, it will also mean that I can contribute more broadly to the firm, its clients and its staff — and I'm really excited to have that opportunity. I look forward to helping to build on the excellence that Clayton Utz offers."
