Media Release: Clayton Utz advises Mitsui Fudosan on its largest acquisition in Australia

Clayton Utz has advised Mitsui Fudosan, one of Japan's largest listed property developers, on its acquisition of a two-thirds interest in a premium office development at 55 Pitt Street, Sydney. The acquisition represents Mitsui Fudosan's largest acquisition in Australia.

ASX-listed Mirvac is the owner of the remaining one-third interest and the ~$2 billion project will be delivered as a joint venture. Mirvac will develop and construct ~60,000 sqm+ of premium commercial and retail space and provide leasing, investment and property management services for the property.
