  • APLNG: advising in relation to the complex multi-party Tri-Star Litigation being conducted in multiple proceedings in the Supreme Court of Queensland.
  • Arrow Energy: advising in various disputes arising under the terms of the joint venture arrangements with AGL.
  • Gas producers: advising in relation to the gas price cap, including the constitutional validity of the price cap and the guidelines for the operation of the ADGSM.
  • Supply and Access Agreements: advised a number of clients in relation to take or pay obligations under supply arrangements, and under agreements for access to infrastructure.
  • Energy and Resource Sector: acted in a number of judicial review proceedings, including the review of decisions relating to PCAs, and the grant of mining and petroleum tenures.
  • Project Site Protection: acts for a number of energy and resources clients in relation to restraining unlawful interference on a number of project sites.
  • Insolvency Litigation: acts for a number of clients insolvency litigation ranging from pursuing and defending voidable transaction claims, claims against receivers and managers for alleged sales at undervalue, claims for breach of directors’ duties due to insolvent trading and asset stripping, public examinations, proof of debt appeals and applications for the approval of remuneration.
  • Voluntary administrators: acted successfully for the voluntary administrators in relation to the sale / restructure of Virgin Australia Airlines.
  • Liquidation Advisory: advised the liquidators and special purpose liquidators of Caledon Coal and its related entities.
  • Sun Metals: advised as a creditor in the RCR Tomlinson Administration.
