Notable Work
  • Brickworks: acting for Brickworks Limited and its subsidiary Austral WA in private antitrust litigation commenced against BGC Australia, alleging BGC unlawfully acquired the WA Midland brick and masonry business despite ACCC informal merger clearance and that BGC's pricing practices over several years were predatory in contravention of the misuse of market power (abuse) prohibition in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
  • Jaguar Land Rover Australia: acting in defence of Federal Court class action proceedings relating to alleged issues with the diesel particulate filter (DPF) systems installed in affected vehicles.
  •  Bank: acting in defence of a leading Australian bank in ACCC investigations in relation to attempted cartel conduct.
  •  NBN Co: acting in relation to competition and consumer law issues affecting the national broadband network.
  •  Port of Newcastle: acting in relation to competition issues affecting Port of Newcastle, one of the largest coal export terminals in the world.
